Got out for a half day on the water took my double handed spey rod for a walk, Fished two runs & landed two steelhead, I have been using the Rio Skagit line with a 6-ft T14 head to deliver the fly both fish took at the end of the swing. There are some other systems available to the hardcore fly guy The Airflow Tactical Shooting heads or Compact Skagit another large bodied delivery system. Pair this line up with slick shooter as your running line and you have another assault weapon !
If you haven't given this a go and have still been tossing the old wind cutter I recommend you make the change you wont be disappointed!!
